Terrific win for The Venue sees them close the gap on the leaders
Monday Team League
The top of the table clash between Lenton Liberal Club and Spot On Hucknall ended with honours even. The scotch pairs playing a pivotal part for Hucknall on the night. Three points still separates the two teams with just a few weeks left.
The Venue kept up their title challenge with a great 6-0 win against BCI AJ. Highlight of the night was the scotch pairs break of 48 from Andrew Wain and Don Merry. This is the highest of the season so far – great effort guys!
Hidden Spot climbed to fourth position thanks to an excellent 4-2 win against Carlton Liberal Club who remain bottom. It was a close match and if James Baillie and Kevin Barlow (pictured) could have pinched the pairs frame, the scoreline would have been reversed.
