BCI B secure a superb draw with top of the table Hucknall
Tuesday Team League
Table toppers Spot On Hucknall were held 4-4 at BCI B. Some excellent performances by Paul Wainwright and his team. Steve Purser winning both his frames for the home team. Malc Grocock had the highest break of the night with a 48 for Hucknall.
The Towers kept up their excellent form with another big win, this time against BCI Masters by 7 frame to 1. This week’s Notts Amateur finalist Andy Diacopoulos again making breaks as well as captain Dan Moll getting in on the break building action. Good luck to Andy in this week’s final against Steve Donner.
Phoenix Cue Sports had a tight victory over the improving Arnold Civil Defence. Captain John Fountain scoring well with a 48 break against County Captain Ben Monk. Peter Ogburn winning both his frames against Keith Waterhouse before Steff Swann and Sam Burton (pictured) did the damage for the away side in winning 3 out of the last 4 frames.
Final match of the night involved the ever improving Welcome Institute and Spot On Reds. Welcome coming away with a good 6-2 win against the Sneinton side. Martin Conway continuing his good form from Ding’s Academy on Sunday with a solid 2-0 win. Wins also for Peter White and James Rice on the night for the Sutton side.
