Lenton Liberal Club are Monday Team League Champions
Monday Team League
Lenton Liberal Club lifted the Monday Team League title with a resounding 6-0 win against Carlton Liberal Club. This caps off a great season for the newcomers as they take the title by 3 points over Spot On Hucknall. Carlton pushed Lenton all the way though with some very close frames that could have easily been the other way around. Congratulations to Jon Shapland and his team on a great season!!!
Commiserations to Spot On Hucknall, their 4-2 win against BCI AJ wasn’t enough on the night and Lenton also had the better frame difference.
It’s the Knockout Cup final at BCI Snooker Centre on Monday 6 March 2023, featuring the top two teams. All spectators are welcome – play starts at 7pm.
A big thank you to all of the teams that competed in the new format and the Monday Team League – it was super competitive but also played in great spirits.
I look forward to getting the new season started later in the year with hopefully more teams included.
