Impressive Nav Hussain is the 2026 Holgates Masters champion

Congratulations to Nav Hussain on winning the 2026 Holgate Masters. Nav defeated two-time defending champion Wayne Martin 4-1. The match was a one-sided affair with Nav in fine form and Wayne unable to get anything going.

Frame 1
A solid safety battle between the players before Nav made the most of his chances and some good fortune to take a 1-0 lead.
Nav 52-15 Wayne
Frame 2
Wayne missed a simple brown after getting control of the frame. Nav punished Wayne with a super clearance to go 2-0 ahead.
Nav 71-14 Wayne
Frame 3
Wayne managed to pinch the third frame thanks to a break of 29 and reduce the deficit in the match to just one frame.
Wayne 60-21 Nav
Frame 4
A sloppy break off by Wayne allowed Nav in for a lovely 40 break, missing a tricky red to the middle. It was all one way traffic after that and Wayne made further errors which Nav punished. Nav now led 3-1.
Nav 50-41 Wayne
Frame 5
Another lovely 40 break from Nav put him in prime position for the match. Wayne had one last chance but he messed it up. Nav stepped in and took frame and match 4-1.
Nav 66-22 Wayne
